The best truth telling Whites on the Russian side are unquestionably the milbloggers. These are guys who are on Telegram and social media and they discuss the war daily. They have been proven true more often than the Russian government. Their data has at times been ahead of that of everyone else and they have also admitted to Russian failures and they don’t cover up when Russians make mistakes.
Their military assessments have proven longer term value and the balance of their reporting is good.
They are pro-Russian Nationalists, but their word carries value. In this regard they are proper truth-telling Whites.
Girkin is ex-military himself and he’s one of the best.
I would much rather listen to Girkin, and I have done so, rather than worrying about paid shills like Douglas MacGregor and Scott Ritter. In my view Macgregor is a paid Russian agent. I’ve listened to what he says and I really don’t take that man seriously.
