Is Trump really on Putin’s side or is he playing with the Russians?

Trump has hit out at the Jew Zelensky of Ukraine and called him a dictator and basically echoing all the Russian talking points.
What I am curious to see is whether Trump is really just warming up the Russians so that the USA can speak to them.
I’m wondering if this is a game that Trump is playing … and if so … we’ll see how things really go when they get to the negotiation table.
