NB: The statement that Hitler banned guns sounds like rubbish to me. I’ve NEVER come across any hint of such a thing. It makes no sense within the concepts of the Germans. Hitler did not need to take guns from anyone except maybe communists who were terrorists and engaging in violence. It seems to me that the lie about Hitler banning guns is yet another smear against the Germans and Hitler and nothing more. American gun organisations seem to keep on repeating this lie endlessly.
