1261 destroyed Russian tanks & 528 destroyed Ukrainian tanks so far – Website that gets proof of EVERY destroyed Tank

[Our Dutch brethren are always thinking up new stuff and they have engaged in a unique service. Oryx is a Dutch website that keeps track of all destroyed tanks in the Ukraine war and other wars. They only count the vehicles as destroyed if they can get a photo of it and can prove it. THEREFORE the actual losses are much higher. But they serve the purpose of being independent counters who are applying consistent standards. So, that allows us to at least get some valid ratios. The ratio of losses is 1 Ukrainian tank versus 2.3 Russian tanks. This is very much in line with the infantry death toll which I have written about. So as you can see the Ukrainians are managing to keep a steady kill rate of more than 2 to 1 compared to the Russians. It is the Russians who are losing the most vehicles and the most men. Interestingly the Russians captured 139 Ukrainian tanks but the Ukrainians captured 542 tanks. Since they can repair a lot of vehicles, the Ukrainian tank force, by this measure alone, remained more or less the same size, but now with the Western tanks it will be bigger and stronger. The Russians on the other hand have lost a significant amount of tanks. It's been said that the Russians will need 10 years to replace their lost tanks. They produce about 100 tanks a year. Their industry is focusing on just repairing tanks and getting them back into battle. That is also why they are pulling out older and older tanks for us in the fight. Jan]
