ATTENTION: Bouncing Proton Emails – WARNING TO PROTONMAIL Email Account holders

I have noticed, on some occasions in recent weeks, that sometimes when I send an email to a Protonmail account holder, that the email BOUNCES – meaning it can’t find the account and it returns to me as an unknown email address.

I don’t see this all the time. But I’ve seen this a few times now. In one case I notified the email account holder several times until he confirmed he was receiving my emails. I told him that I had 2 bounces as proof that emails to his Protonmail account were bouncing.

I’ve never seen this before. This is a recent thing. So I’m not sure if there is something wrong with the Protonmail servers.

If any of you pay for a Proton mail account or have the means to contact them, then please inform them that sometimes emails to them are BOUNCING – being sent back saying the email account does not exist.

There has to be something wrong technically there.

It does not happen often. But it should not be happening at all. I’ve now seen this a few times in the last month or two. This is not right.
