HELP MATT HALE: Please write the Federal Bureau of Prisons’ New Director On Behalf of Matt

Hi Supporters,

Matt has asked me to ask you to write the Federal Bureau of Prison’s new director, Colette S. Peters, weekly to report Matt’s ill treatment and censorship as well as to plead for his being more humane and justly treated. As most of you know, Matt has been forbidden any communication with anyone who is not an immediate family member. This during the critical phase of the related Civil Rights Case that Matt is prosecuting currently to have his First Amendment rights upheld. Please no threats or insinuations of anything illegal.

In researching Director Peters, her physiognomy and surname would seem to indicate that she is a Jew and, hence, unsympathetic to Matt’s case, but there are some indications that she is seeking the more humane treatment of some prisoners, even if it appears from the attached document submitted to the Committee on the Judiciary of the U.S. Senate that her efforts are limited to more humane treatment of female prisoners only.

We only have the contact information for general inquiries to the BOP at this time but perhaps just address the letter to Director Peters.
