My Friend in Memphis sent me this more detailed note about Elvis Presley:
Elvis was a fundamentalist Christian with an unconquerable appetite for adultery and fornication- it was just too easy for him! He knew this was wrong . I think he truly did love the Lord but couldn’t conquer his sinful tendencies and this left him conflicted. Towards the end of his life he started casting about beyond his Christian upbringing in a vain attempt to reconcile himself to God, and he probably looked into Judaism as one of many alternatives to Christianity but I don’t think he ever embraced it. The connection was just too remote- more than 7 generations! Because of his movie career and the fact that his manager Colonel Tom Parker was Jewish. I’m sure he was aware of Jewish power and influence.
